The interaction program with Dr. Bhagwan Koirala, organized by the Sunny Sagarmatha Samaj, was held on May 17th, 2022 at 24989 Santa Clara St., Hayward, CA. The event was a special occasion that brought together members of the Nepalese community and other local community members to learn about Dr. Bhagwan Koirala’s dream and plan to promote child health in Nepal, as well as the introduction of the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health.
The program began with a welcome speech by the President of Sunny Sagarmatha Samaj, who introduced Dr. Bhagwan Koirala and his work in the field of child health. Dr. Koirala then took the stage and shared his vision for improving child health in Nepal, highlighting the challenges and opportunities that exist in this field. He also shared the details of the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health, an institution that he established to provide quality health care services to children in Nepal.
The audience was engaged and impressed by Dr. Koirala’s dedication and passion for child health. Many questions were asked and Dr. Koirala provided answers and elaborations.
The event also featured a dinner, served to the guests, which was a great opportunity for the community to come together and share a meal. The suggested donation for the dinner was $25. More than 70 people showed up, showing the great interest in this topic.
