Sunny Sagarmatha Samaj Hosts Successful Nepali New Year Picnic
Sunnyvale, California – April 16th, 2022: Sunny Sagarmatha Samaj, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving Nepalese culture and traditions in the Bay Area, California, successfully organized its signature event, the Nepali New Year Picnic, on April 16th, 2022 at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, California.
The event was a huge success, with more than 2000 people in attendance, making it one of the largest gatherings of the Nepalese community in the Bay Area. The event featured a wide range of activities, including traditional Nepalese food, games, music, dance, and networking opportunities.
The event began with a traditional Nepalese cultural program, featuring performances by local artists, musicians, and dancers. The crowd was treated to a colorful display of traditional Nepalese dance, music, and costumes, which provided a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Nepal.
After the cultural program, the crowd was treated to a delicious spread of traditional Nepalese food, including momos, dal bhat, and sel roti. The food was a huge hit with the crowd and many people were seen enjoying second and third servings.
In addition to the food and cultural program, the event also featured a wide range of games and activities. There were also raffles of Apple products, which added to the excitement of the event.
The highlight of the event was the networking opportunities it provided. The event brought together people from all walks of life, including business owners, community leaders, and local politicians.
